Maleville is a French commune with 953 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Villeneuvois et Villefranchois (until 2015: canton of Montbazens ). The inhabitants are called Malevillois .

Maleville is located about 25 kilometers south-southeast of Figeac am Alzou . Maleville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Igest in the north, Drulhe in the north and northeast, Lanuéjols in the east and northeast, Compolibat and Brandonnet in the east, Le Bas-Ségala with La Bastide-l'Évêque in the south and southeast, Villefranche-de- Rouergue in the southwest, Saint-Rémy in the west and Villeneuve in the west and northwest.
