Peyrusse-le-Roc ( Occitan Peirussa del Ròc ) is a French commune with 227 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Lot et Montbazinois (until 2015 Montbazens ). The inhabitants are called Pétruciens .
geography
Peyrusse-le-Roc is located about 40 kilometers west-northwest of Rodez . Peyrusse-le-Roc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sonnac in the north and north-west, Asprières in the north, Les Albres in the north-east, Galgan in the east, Drulhe in the south and Naussac in the west.
The community is on the Camino de Santiago .
