Ambeyrac ( Occitan Ambairac ) is a French commune with 174 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Villeneuvois et Villefranchois (until 2015 Villeneuve ). The inhabitants are called Ambeyracois .

Ambeyrac is located about 58 kilometers west-northwest of Rodez am Lot , which borders the municipality in the north and northwest. Ambeyrac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Larroque-Toirac in the north, Balaguier-d'Olt in the north-east, Montsalès in the east, Ols-et-Rinhodes in the south and south-east, Saujac in the west and south-east and Montbrun in the west and north-west.
