Escandolières ( Occitan : Las Candolièiras ) is a French commune with 234 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department , Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Villefranche-de-Rouergue (until 2017: Arrondissement Rodez ) and the canton Enne et Alzou (until 2015: Canton Rignac ). The inhabitants are called Escandoliérois .
geography
Escandolières is located about 27 kilometers northwest of Rodez . Escandolières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Auzits in the north and west, Saint-Christophe-Vallon in the north and east, Goutrens in the south and Bournazel in the west and south-west.
