Morlhon-le-Haut ( Morlhon in Occitan ) is a French commune with 557 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Aveyron et Tarn (until 2015 Villefranche-de-Rouergue ). The inhabitants are called Morlhonais .

Morlhon-le-Haut is about 39 kilometers west-southwest of Rodez . Morlhon-le-Haut is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villefranche-de-Rouergue in the north and west, Le Bas Ségala in the north, south and east and Sanvensa in the south and south-west.
