Way of St. James (Via Podiensis)
In Livinhac-le-Haut there is a tourist information office, hotel and restaurant as well as a campsite. There are also several pilgrimage hostels (French: Gîte d'étape ) and private rooms (French: Chambre d'Hôtes ) in town. The path now leads north of the Lot Valley through slightly undulating, agriculturally used terrain. The next larger town, Figeac , is reached through the hamlets of Montredon and Saint-Félix-de-Mirabel . The southern influence is increasingly noticeable on the basis of the vegetation. There are only sparse overnight accommodations on the way. About two kilometers away from the GR 65 there are several pilgrimage hostels in the village of Felzins . Figeac can be reached by road either through the Lot Valley (D42, D840), or via the plateau on routes D21, D18 and D2.
