Naussac ( identical in Occitan ) is a French commune with 373 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Lot et Montbazinois (until 2015 Capdenac-Gare ). The inhabitants are called Naussacais .

geography

Naussac is about 50 kilometers west-northwest of Rodez . Naussac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Capdenac-Gare in the north, Sonnac in the north and north-east, Peyrusse-le-Roc in the east, Drulhe in the south-east, Salles-Courbatiès in the south and south-west and Gelles in the west and north-west.
