Camjac ( Occitan Camjac ) is a French commune of the department of Aveyron with 572 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the region Occitania (before 2016 Midi-Pyrenees ). It is assigned to the canton of Ceor-Ségala (until 2015 Naucelle ) and the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue . The inhabitants are called Camjacois .

geography

Camjac is located about 22 kilometers south-southwest of Rodez in the Massif Central . Camjac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Quins in the north, Camboulazet in the north-east, Centrès in the south and east, Saint-Just-sur-Viaur in the south and south-west, Tauriac-de-Naucelle in the south-west and Naucelle in the west and north-west.
