Meljac Town Hall (Mairie)

Meljac ( Occitan is identical) is a French commune of the department of Aveyron of 130 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the region Occitania (before 2016 Midi-Pyrenees ). It is assigned to the canton of Ceor-Ségala (until 2015 Naucelle ) and the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue (until 2017 Rodez ). The inhabitants are called Meljacois .

geography

Meljac is located about thirty kilometers south-southwest of Rodez in the Massif Central . Meljac is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Centrès in the north, Rullac-Saint-Cirq in the south and east and Saint-Just-sur-Viaur in the south and west.
