Cransac is a French commune with 1,508 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . Cransac belongs to the arrondissement Villefranche-de-Rouergue and is part of the canton Enne et Alzou (until 2015: canton Aubin ). The inhabitants are called Cransacois .
geography
Cransac lies on the Enne river . The Riou Viou river limits the municipality to the south. Cransac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aubin in the north and west, Firmi in the east and northeast and Auzits in the south.
