Tauriac-de-Naucelle ( Occitan Tauriac de Naucèla ) is a French commune of the department of Aveyron with 372 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the region Occitania (before 2016 Midi-Pyrenees ). It is assigned to the canton of Ceor-Ségala (until 2015 Naucelle ) and the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue (until 2017 Rodez ). The inhabitants are called Tauriaciens .
geography
Tauriac-de-Naucelle is located about 38 kilometers southwest of Rodez in the Massif Central on the Viaur , which borders the municipality in the northwest. Tauriac-de-Naucelle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cabanès in the north and northwest, Naucelle in the north, Camjac in the northeast, Saint-Just-sur-Viaur in the east, Tanus in the south, Pampelonne in the southwest and Crespin in the west.
The national route 88 runs through the municipality .
