Pradinas ( Occitan PRADINAS ) is a French commune of the department of Aveyron with 360 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the region Occitania (before 2016 Midi-Pyrenees ). It is assigned to the canton of Ceor-Ségala ( Baraqueville-Sauveterre until 2015 ) and the Arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue (until 2017 Rodez ). The inhabitants are called Pradinassois .
geography
Pradinas is located about 31 kilometers southwest of Rodez in the Massif Central . The Lieux de Villelongue river runs along the eastern border of the municipality . Pradinas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Castanet in the north and north-east, Sauveterre-de-Rouergue in the east, Cabanès in the south, Tayrac in the south and south-west, La Salvetat-Peyralès in the west and south-west and Rieupeyroux in the west and north-west.
