Balaguier-d'Olt ( Occitan Balaguièr d'Òlt ) is a French commune with 162 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Lot et Montbazinois (until 2015 Capdenac-Gare ). The inhabitants are called Balaguiérois .

geography

Balaguier-d'Olt is about 56 kilometers west-north-west of Rodez am Lot (Occitan: Olt ). Balaguier-d'Olt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierre-Toirac in the north and northwest, Frontenac in the north, Gelles in the east and northeast, Montsalès in the south, Ambeyrac in the west and southwest and Larroque-Toirac in the west.
