Asprières ( Occitan Asprièiras ) is a French commune with 733 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Lot et Montbazinois (until 2015 Capdenac-Gare ). The inhabitants are called Aspriérois .
geography
Asprières is located about eleven kilometers southeast of Figeac on the Lot . Asprières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cuzac in the north, Bouillac in the northeast, Les Albres in the east, Peyrusse-le-Roc in the south, Sonnac in the west and south-west, Capdenac-Gare in the west and north-west and Capdenac-le-Haut in the north-west.
