Sainte-Juliette-sur-Viaur ( Occitan : Senta Jaleda ) is a French commune with 598 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue and the canton of Monts du Réquistanais (until 2015: canton of Cassagnes-Bégonhès ). The inhabitants are called Juliettois .
geography
Sainte-Juliette-sur-Viaur is located about 38 kilometers northeast of Albi and about 17 kilometers south-southwest of Rodez . The Viaur limits the municipality to the south. Neighboring communities are Manhac in the north and north-west, Calmont in the north, Comps-la-Grand-Ville in the east, Salmiech in the south-east, Cassagnes-Bégonhès in the south, Centrès in the south-west and Camboulazet in the west.
