The canton of Rignac was a French canton in the Aveyron département and in the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It comprised eight parishes in the Arrondissement of Rodez ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Rignac . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Anne-Marie Escoffier was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2008 to 2015.
