The canton of Millau-Est was a French canton in the arrondissement of Millau , in the Aveyron department and in the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It comprised three communities and the eastern part of the city of Millau , which served as the main town (French: chef-lieu ) of the canton. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The representative in the conseil général des Départements was Guy Durand ( PS ) from 2008 to 2015 .
