The Canton of Villeneuve was 2015 a French canton in the department of Aveyron and the region Midi-Pyrenees . It included ten parishes in the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Villeneuve . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Pierre Costes from 2008 to 2015.
