The canton of Vézins-de-Lévézou was a French canton in the Aveyron department and the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It included four parishes in the arrondissement of Millau ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Vézins-de-Lévézou . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

  • Jean-Henri Fabre (born December 21, 1823 in Saint-Léons du Lévézou; † October 11, 1915 in Sérignan-du-Comtat, Vaucluse) natural scientist (entomologist), poet and writer, member of the Académie Française and the Légion d'honneur . He is considered a pioneer in behavioral research and ecophysiology.
