The Canton Peyreleau is a former French canton in the department of Aveyron and the region Midi-Pyrenees . It included seven parishes in the arrondissement of Millau ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Peyreleau . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

The canton of Peyreleau was 221.69 km 2 and last had 2213 inhabitants (as of 2012). It was located on the lower reaches of the Jonte and the end of the Gorges du Tarn on average at 580  m , between 372  m in La Cresse and 1011  m in Veyreau .
