Saint-Jean-de-Balmes Priory

Veyreau ( Occitan Vairau ) is a French commune with 137 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron département and in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the canton of Tarn et Causses (until 2015 Peyreleau ) and the arrondissement of Millau . The inhabitants are called Veyralains .

location

Veyreau is located about 22 kilometers east-northeast of Millau . The municipality is part of the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park . The Tarn limits the community to the north. Veyreau is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Pierre-des-Tripiers in the north and north-west, Hures-la-Parade in the north, Meyrueis in the east and north-east, Lanuéjols in the east and south-east, Saint-André-de-Vézines in the south and Peyreleau in the West.
