Sylvanès ( Occitan Silvanés ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 111 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Sylvanès belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and the canton of Causses-Rougiers ( Camarès until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Sylvanésiens .

Sylvanès is located about 62 kilometers east-southeast of Albi in the southwest of the historic Rouergue province . Sylvanès is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Félix-de-Sorgues in the north, Montagnol in the east, Fayet in the south, Camarès in the west and south-west and Gissac in the north-west.
