Flavin (also called Calmont-de-Plancatge ) is a French commune with 2,322 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . It belongs administratively to the arrondissement of Millau and is part of the canton of North Lévezou (until 2015: canton of Pont-de-Salars ) in terms of population.

geography

Flavin is located about six kilometers south-southeast of Rodez . In the south, the Viaur river borders the municipality. Flavin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Monastère in the north, Sainte-Radegonde and Le Vibal in the northeast, Pont-de-Salars in the east, Trémouilles in the south and southeast, Calmont in the southwest, Luc-la-Primaube in the west and Olemps in the northwest.
