Saint-Izaire ( Occitan : Sent eseri ) is a French commune of the department of Aveyron in the region Occitania (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ) with 303 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Saint-Affrique and the arrondissement of Millau .
geography
Saint-Izaire is located about 36 kilometers west-southwest of Millau and about 44 kilometers south-southeast of Rodez in the historic region of the Rouergue . Saint-Izaire is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Broquiès in the north, Les Costes-Gozon in the northeast, Calmels-et-le-Viala in the east and southeast, Saint-Juéry in the south, Montclar in the west and Brousse-le-Château in the northwest.
