La Serre ( Occitan : La Sèrra ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 120 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). La Serre belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and the canton of Causses-Rougiers ( Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Serrois .

La Serre is located about 45 kilometers east-southeast of Albi in the southwest of the historic Rouergue province . La Serre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Martrin in the north, Saint-Juéry in the east, Combret in the south and Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance in the west and southwest.
