Le Vibal ( Occitan : Lo Bisbal ) is a French commune with 507 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and is part of the canton of Raspes et Lévezou (until 2015: canton of Pont-de-Salars ). The inhabitants are called Vibalais .
geography
Le Vibal is about 14 kilometers east-southeast of Rodez . The Viaur limits the municipality to the south. Le Vibal is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Agen-d'Aveyron in the north and north-west, Montrozier in the north, Bertholène in the north-east, Arques in the east, Ségur in the south-east, Pont-de-Salars in the south, Flavin in the south-west and Sainte-Radegonde in the west and northwest.
