Versols-et-Lapeyre ( Occitan : Verzòls e La Pèira ) is a French commune of the department of Aveyron in the region Occitania (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ) with 420 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Saint-Affrique and the arrondissement of Millau . The inhabitants are called Lapeyrois and Versoliens .
geography
Versols-et-Lapeyre is located about 25 kilometers south-southwest of Millau and about 59 kilometers south-southeast of Rodez in the historic region of the Rouergue . Versols-et-Lapeyre is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Affrique in the north, Saint-Jean-et-Saint-Paul in the northeast, Saint-Félix-de-Sorgues in the east and southeast and Gissac in the south and west.
