Trémouilles ( Occitan : Tremolhas ) is a French commune with 504 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and is part of the canton of Raspes et Lévezou (until 2015: canton of Pont-de-Salars ). The inhabitants are called Trémouillais .

geography

Trémouilles is about 13 kilometers south-southeast of Rodez . The Viaur limits the municipality to the north. Trémouilles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Flavin in the north, Pont-de-Salars in the northeast, Canet-de-Salars in the east, Arvieu in the south, Salmiech in the south and southwest and Comps-la-Grand-Ville in the northwest.
