Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon ( Occitan : Sent Jòrdi ) is a French commune with 1,617 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and the canton of Millau-1 (until 2015: canton of Millau-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Georgia .

Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon is located about eight kilometers west-southwest of Millau on the upper reaches of the Tarn , which forms the northern municipal boundary and into which the Cernon flows here. The area belongs to the historical province of the Rouergue , which was annexed to the Quercy in 1779 . Saint-Georges-de-Luzençon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Comprégnac in the north, Creissels in the east, La Bastide-Pradines in the southeast, Saint-Rome-de-Cernon in the south, Saint-Rome-de-Tarn in the west and Montjaux in the northwest . The municipality is part of the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park .
