Brasc ( identical in Occitan ) is a town and municipality in the south of France with 167 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Brasc belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and the canton of Causses-Rougiers (until 2015 Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance ). The inhabitants are called Brascais .

Brasc is located about 37 kilometers east of Albi in the southwest of the historic Rouergue province . The Tarn limits the municipality (partially) to the north. Brasc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Réquista in the north and north-west, Connac in the north, Montclar in the east and south-east, Coupiac in the south, La Bastide-Solages in the south-west and Fraissines in the west and south-west.
