Auriac-Lagast ( Occitan : Auriac ) is a French commune with 229 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and the canton of Monts du Réquistanais (until 2015: canton of Cassagnes-Bégonhès ). The inhabitants are called Aurigastois .

Auriac-Lagast is around 35 kilometers northeast of Albi and around 20 kilometers south of Rodez . Neighboring communities are Salmiech in the north, Arvieu in the north-east, Alrance in the east and south-east, Durenque in the south, La Selve in the west and south-west and Cassagnes-Bégonhès in the north-west.
