Montclar ( identical Occitan ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 161 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Montclar belongs to the arrondissement of Millau and the canton of Causses-Rougiers (until 2015 Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance ). The inhabitants are called Montclarnais .

location

Montclar is located about forty kilometers east of Albi in the southwest of the historic Rouergue province . The camouflage limits the community (partially) in the north. Montclar is surrounded by the neighboring communities Brousse-le-Château in the north, Saint-Izaire in the east, Saint-Juéry in the south-east, Martrin in the south, Coupiac in the south and south-west, Brasc in the west and south-west and Connac in the north-west.
