Adelaide Giants

The Adelaide Giants are a professional baseball team based in Adelaide, Australia . The team plays in the Australian Baseball League . The home ground is the Diamond Sports Stadium in Adelaide. The team has been part of the Adelaide Crows franchise since June 2018 . The Australian Football Club has since acted as the main owner of the team.

history

The Adelaide Giants were originally formed in the original Australian Baseball League under the name Adelaide Giants , before returning in 2010 under the name Adelaide Bite in the newly formed current Australian Baseball League . For the 2019/20 season, the team was named back in Adelaide Giants. The team has not won a championship since the Australian Baseball League was founded in 2010. However, the third place was achieved in the 2010/11 and 2015/16 seasons and second in the 2016/17 season after the Brisbane Bandits .
