Olemps is a French commune with 3403 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron département in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rodez and the canton of North Lévezou . The inhabitants are called Olempiens .
geography
The municipality is located between Toulouse and Lyon . The Aveyron River flows through the parish and then limits it to the northeast. Neighboring communities are Rodez in the north and northeast, La Monastère in the east, Flavin in the southeast, Luc-la-Primaube in the south and southwest and Druelle Balsac with Druelle in the west.
The national route 88 runs through the municipality .
