Villecomtal ( Occitan : Vila Comtal ) is a French commune with 403 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron département in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs administratively to the Arrondissement of Rodez and is part of the canton of Lot et Truyère ( Estaing until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Villecomtalais .
geography
Villecomtal is about 20 kilometers north of Rodez . Villecomtal is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Campuac in the north and east, Sébrazac in the east, Rodelle in the south and south-east, Muret-le-Château in the south, Mouret in the west and south-west, and Saint-Félix-de-Lunel in the west and north-west.
