Palmas d'Aveyron is a French commune with 1,024 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rodez and the canton of Lot et Palanges .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Palmas , Coussergues and Cruéjouls , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

Neighboring communities are Gabriac in the north-west, Lassouts in the north, Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt in the north-east, Vimenet in the east, Gaillac-d'Aveyron in the south-east, Laissac-Sévérac l'Église in the south and south-west and Bertholène in the west.
