The Communauté de communes des Causses à l'Aubrac is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Aveyron department in the Occitania region . It was founded on November 23, 2016 and comprises 17 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Palmas d'Aveyron .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes du Canton de Laissac ,
  • Communauté de communes du Pays d'Olt et d'Aubrac and
  • Communauté de communes du Lot et de la Serre .

In addition, all the municipalities of the dissolved Communauté de communes du Lot et de la Serre joined together to form a Commune nouvelle under the name Sévérac d'Aveyron , which also joined the local association.
