Curières ( Occitan Curièiras ) is a French commune with 226 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department of the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Rodez and the canton of Aubrac et Carladez (until 2015 Laguiole ). The inhabitants are called Curièrois .
geography
Curières is located about 37 kilometers north-northeast of Rodez in the Aubrac landscape in the Massif Central . Curières is surrounded by the neighboring communities Laguiole in the north, Saint-Urcize in the east and northeast, Condom-d'Aubrac in the south and east and Montpeyroux in the west.
