Conques-en-Rouergue is a French commune with 1,673 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of Lot et Dourdou and the Arrondissement of Rodez .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 by merging the former municipalities of Conques , Grand-Vabre , Noailhac and Saint-Cyprien-sur-Dourdou . The administrative headquarters are in Conques.

geography
Conques-en Rouergues is around 30 kilometers east of Figeac city center . The municipality is crossed by the Dourdou River. The Lot runs along the northern municipal boundary . Neighboring communities are:
- Cassaniouze in the north,
- Vielvie in the northeast,
- Sénergues in the east,
- Saint-Félix-de-Lunel and Pruines in the southeast,
- Nauviale in the south,
- Firmi and Decazeville in the southwest,
- Flagnac to the west, as well
- Saint-Parthem in the northwest.
