La Loubière is a French commune with 1,472 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron département in the Occitanie region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Rodez and the canton of Causse-Comtal . The administration of the municipality is located in Lioujas , which is in the north of the municipality.

The municipality is located in the Causse countryside , south of the Causse du Comtal , around eight kilometers northeast of Rodez . The neighboring municipalities of La Loubière are:

The place La Loubière is on the left bank of the Aveyron river , the northern municipality is still in the area of influence of the karst area of the Causse and therefore has hardly any water on the surface.
