The Gmina Tuchomie is a rural community in the powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. Their seat is the village of the same name (German Groß Tuchen ). The community covers 106.3 km² and has about 4200 inhabitants.
geography
The rural community is located in the far north-west of the lake-rich Kashubian Switzerland on the northern slope of the terminal moraine range Schimmritzer Berge (256 m). The waters include the Kamieniczno (Kamenzsee) , from which the Kamienica (Kamenz river) rises. It flows through Tuchomie to Słupia (Stolpe) . Other lakes are the Białe Jezioro, the Przytarnia and the Jezioro Spore.

The national road DK 20 (Stettin – Gdynia), which runs through Tuchomie , provides the connection to the neighboring towns of Bytów (Bütow) and Miastko (Rummelsburg) .
