Masłowice Tuchomskie ( Kashubian Wieldżé Maslowice , German Groß Massowitz ) is a village in the municipality of Tuchomie ( Groß Tuchen ) in the Powiat Bytowski ( Bütow district ) in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Masłowice Tuchomskie is located in a hilly landscape in eastern Pomerania .

history

The place Masłowice Tuchomskie was in the course of Frederick created colonization as "Tuchensche Heyde" and completed in 1751 with 16 farmers farmsteads. The village of Klein Massowitz (Masłowiczki) was later built 3.5 km to the southwest. In 1908, the rural community of Groß Massowitz, together with the rural communities of Klein Massowitz, Neuhütten (today: Nowe Huty ) and Tschebiatkow, as well as the Massowitz estate, formed the Massowitz district. In 1925, Groß Massowitz had 319 inhabitants who lived in 34 houses with 54 households.

At the end of the Second World War , violent fighting broke out in March 1945. After the end of the war, Groß Massowitz became part of Poland in accordance with the allied agreements of Yalta . The immigration of Polish civilians began, the German population was driven west by the until 1946 .

Masłowice Tuchomskie now belongs to the rural municipality of Tuchomie . In 2011 there were 144 inhabitants in Masłowice Tuchomskie.

In Groß Massowitz, Protestant Christians made up the majority of the population. These were parish in Groß Tuchen. The Catholics were also looked after from Groß Tuchen.
