The canton of Espalion was 2015 a French canton in the department of Aveyron and the region Midi-Pyrenees . It included six parishes in the Arrondissement of Rodez ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Espalion . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Simone Anglade from 1988 to 2015.
