The Canton Rieupeyroux was 2015 a French canton in the department of Aveyron and the region Midi-Pyrenees . It included six parishes in the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Rieupeyroux . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Michel Costes from 2001 to 2015.
