Hayrettin Yerlikaya (born August 13, 1981 in Sivas ) is a Turkish football player . Through his many years of work for Sivasspor and as a home grown man, he is very strongly associated with this club. Fan and club members regard him as one of the most important players in club history. He holds several club records in hand. With 179 first division appearances for Sivasspor, he was the player with the most Süper Lig appearances in the club's history and was only replaced as the record holder in May 2015 by Kadir Bekmezci . He was involved in the most important successes in the club's history and also wore the captain's armband for a long time.

Yerlikaya has been with Sivasspor since the beginning of his career . With Sivasspor he achieved promotion to the Turkcell Süper Lig and the successful 4th place in the 2007/08 season. The following year, the league was completed as runner-up.

In the summer of 2013, his expired contract was not extended. So he left the club after 14 years of membership.

National team

For the Turkish national soccer team he was nominated twice in 2007, but was not used. Before that he played twice for the second selection of the Turkish national team in 2006 and 2007.
