The canton of Marcillac-Vallon was a French canton in the Aveyron department and the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It comprised ten parishes in the arrondissement of Rodez ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Marcillac-Vallon . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Anne Gaben-Toutant was most recently a representative in the conseil général des Départements.
