The canton of Montbazens was a French canton in the Aveyron département and in the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It included 13 parishes in the arrondissement of Villefranche-de-Rouergue ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Montbazens . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Gisèle Rigal.
