It included six parishes in the Arrondissement of Rodez ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Saint-Amans-des-Cots . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. René Lavastrou was last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2004 to 2015.
