The canton of Rodez-Ouest was a French canton in the Aveyron département and in the Midi-Pyrénées region until 2015 . It comprised three parishes and the western parts of the main town (chef-lieu) Rodez in the Rodez arrondissement . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Christian Teyssèdre ( PS ) was the representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2008 to 2010 . He was followed by Nicole Laromiguière ( PRG ).
