Roger Schilling

Roger Schilling (born November 12, 1961 in Hanover ) is a German lawyer and a judge at the Federal Court of Justice since 2009 .

Life

Schilling began his career after completing his legal training in 1995 by entering the higher judicial service of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . There it was first used by the Bremen public prosecutor's office , then by the Bremen Regional Court and the Bremen and Bremen-Blumenthal district courts . In 1999 Schilling was appointed judge for life at the Bremen District Court and was mainly concerned with family matters in the following years. From 2002 to 2006 he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant . This was followed in October 2006 by Schilling's appointment as judge at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Bremen , where he was a member of one of the family senates.

On March 2, 2009 Schillung was appointed judge at the Federal Court of Justice and the III. Civil Senate assigned. Since 2010 he has been a member of the XII. Civil Senate , which is mainly responsible for family law and commercial tenancy law.
